MEET OUR PARTNERS

CLIF BAR® & the VOICEINSPORT Foundation, in partnership with Champion gymnast Suni Lee, are supporting the VOICEINSPORT Foundation to further their mission to close the opportunity gap in sports while supporting women at all critical development stages of their sports journey. The partnership will accelerate the VIS Advocate Program through the launch of 20 new VIS Chapters on campuses including Suni’s college town of Auburn, AL, and campuses near Suni’s hometown of Minneapolis, MN, as well as new chapters in, Twin Falls, ID, Indianapolis, IN, Chicago, IL and in California’s Bay Area where CLIF is headquartered. The partnership will also support 20 VIS Title IX Trainings, hosted both in-person and online, for athletes, coaches and administrators, and an opportunity to advocate together on equity and access for women in sport. The partnership will drastically accelerate the impact and reach of the VIS Advocate Program, a grassroots movement with the goal to reach all girls and women in sport.

The VOICEINSPORT Foundation has partnered the U.S Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) and leading members of the Wu Tsai Human Performance Alliance, including Dr. Emily Kraus at Stanford School of Medicine, Dr. Kate Ackerman at Boston Children's Hospital Harvard, and Dr. Julie McCleary at University of Washington to launch The Female Athlete Voice Project (FAVP) -- a groundbreaking research partnership focusing the woman athlete perspective on barriers in sport.

FAVP will inform sports science research and translational practice for female athletes. Elite athletes are experts on their needs and the barriers they face along their journey in sport, and through FAVP, their voices will be used to drive research for years to come.

The findings from this research partnership will result in multiple publications and white papers, and will ultimately inform the development of an athlete-informed research agenda on the barriers facing woman athletes in sport. Findings may also be generalizable to a broader population of athletes, and can be used as a starting point for developing a research agenda and translational practices for female college, high school, and youth athletes, for the first time.

VOICEINSPORT, the global digital platform for girls in sport is a proud partner to the VOICEINSPORT Foundation. 10% of all donated memberships to VOICEINSPORT go towards the VOICEINSPORT Foundation. 10% of all product sales go towards the VIS Advocate Program. VOICEINSPORT provides the VOICEINSPORT Foundation and it's VIS Advocate Program with free access to the VOICEINSPORT Platform where girls in sport can receive free educational resources, training and access to the best professional athlete mentors and VIS Experts. VOICEINSPORT was the founding partner of the VIS Advocacy Program helping to fund Capitol Hill Days and has helped to create and write the FAIR PLAY FOR WOMEN ACT of 2022.

VOICEINSPORT® (VIS) and the VOICEINSPORT Foundation teamed up with Champs Sports to launch the “Women Win” Campaign to promote gender equity within the sports industry. Since July 17th, VOICEINSPORT and VOICEINSPORT Foundation Founder and CEO Stef Strack has been traveling around the country hosting conversations about equity, advocacy, and mental health with VIS Athletes, VIS Experts, and brand partners Adidas, UnderArmour, Reebok, and Puma.  Champs has donated to the foundation to support the Title IX Micro Grant Program and the VIS Advocate Program.

At the end of the Champs “Women Win Week,” the VOICEINSPORT Foundation announced its Title IX Micro Grant Program. The program will provide funding to K-12 and collegiate athletic programs to close the gap for girls in sport while demanding schools to commit to more education around Title IX for students, administrators and coaches, and more transparent data analysis of Title IX compliance. Puma & Champs donated $40,000 to fund inequities that exist for girls at Taft Charter High School in Woodland Hills, CA. The school has launched a VIS Chapter, will receive formal Title IX training and improve Title IX compliance which is monitored by the VOICEINSPORT Foundation. The donation, powered by Champs Sports & Puma will go towards a complete refurbishment of the girls basketball locker room and to make the girls facilities more equitable overall.
